Yeah. After she explained to me her story, I told her I felt shallow and like a dick because my opinion of her swung back favorably after learning that she had mobility and wasn't confined to the wheelchair. She took it in stride. Said she understands and that we are all shallow. Said she still goes out and does things, she just can't really walk.

I think the biggest thing that struck me was how upbeat she was about everything. She just spent a couple hours talking to me and then seemed totally fine with the fact that nothing might come of it because of her disability (which is kind of depressing that she has come to accept the fact she might not have a chance with a guy she really likes purely because she is in a wheelchair). She never once got upset and was very upfront about everything and encouraging me to ask questions. She had a really great attitude and perspective on life. Makes me feel like bad for whining about all they petty shite I do.

We frequently went back and forth at each other with Alabama and Auburn quips. Anytime one of us would compliment the other we would always throw in some little jab at the end about the rival school.

We even came to an agreement that Georgia sucks.

Survived the no service, hills have eyes portion of Arkansas. Trip should be safe for a while.

#DangerZone

I was listening to the radio this morning and "War of the Roses" came on. It's a program where they offer to send flowers to someone in the hope they catch them sending them to someone other than their SO.

This morning this girl calls in and gives a sob story about how her guy, the ONE, had been acting differently lately, and she recently saw a trashy girl go into his apartment with him.

They get the guy on the phone, and it turns out he had broken up with her 2 months ago because she was too clingy. She had also broken into his apartment recently and left a note saying "I can get to you anytime." She tried to spin all of this in her favor, but that bitch was crazy.

It made me think of you GWT.

Two weeks and I'm headed to Portland Oregon for a week, just in time to attend their four day craft beer festival on the Willamette river
