Absolutely! I'm currently 42 and have a disease that will probably kill me in the next decade or so.

My FIL is 79 and his health is really good. He still works on a golf course during the spring and summmer, drives and takes care of himself. But, he is very active.

If I'm in that shape, sure. If I'm in a nursing home having to have help to eat, probably not.

I'll take my chances. Other than accidents, most of my elders on both sides of the family made it past 90. My great-grandfather died at 98, still working the garden.

No. I'll live until 90, at least. My grandparents were all in their 90s - living full lives.
