You're not wrong

I was sort of hoping that a Trump loss would cause some serious reformation of the GOP into a more libertarian-party but there goes that I guess

i think they still might have to. they just let a liberal (who took little to none of their 2nd amendment, pro-life, anti-gay issues with him) win their primary and the presidency through them, so it shows they've been doing something wrong for 8 years.

i hope it makes them step back and look at things.

the corrupt Democrat govenor of Virginia, a HIllary crony Terry McCuliffe, issued a lawlness executive order that allowed felons to vote in the election.

Trump won despite the Democrat voter fraud.

Trump ran as strong on gun rights and anti-abortion as any GOP that has run before.

liberals weren't calling Trump a liberal prior to the election.

As a central platform? No, not really.

Useful idiots and some degree of cowardice, sure.

All I'm saying is that Trump has a lot of work to do in order to unify this country.

There are literally millions of Americans who are fearful for their safety and their children's safety. Blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, members of the LGBT community, and probably many more. As much as I appreciate the meltdown of the far left SJWs I definitely see where they are coming from.

And I get the fear of the older generation of African Americans who lived through the sixties. They truly feel as if we're about to experience it again. You can't deny that some of his rhetoric has contributed to this fear, whether it was intentional or not. While I don't think it will be that bad Trump and the GOP HAVE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!

You might have won thanks to the angry white working class but now you represent all of us. This nation is deeply divided, and you're going to have to reach across the aisle and sit down with people ( a lot of people) and actually have a discussion. The only way this nation can move forward is of we all actually work together. You asked black people what the Hell do we have to lose? Well, we have a lot to lose, and the Latinx and Muslim communities have even more to lose, so don't let us down.

TLDR; I'm finally on the MAGA train because we don't have a choice now, and if we truly ARE going to make this county great, make it great for everybody.

Listen my friend. We may not agree politically, but I promise you this, If Trump tries to enact policies that intend to hurt blacks, legal immigrants, hispanics, or women, I WILL MOBILIZE THE SHAFT ARMY, AND WE WILL frick HIS shite UP.

You have nothing to fear. Despite what the media tells you, the vast majority of Trump voters are not even remotely racist. You're my brother, and I got your back.

His running mate has opposed gay marriage and transgender rights and even supported gay conversion therapy.

But hey Trump has a flag! He must support them!

I'm with shaft. I know there is racist assholes in the maga. They're a small minority and I hope they die out.

The second I feel there is real racism behind Trump, I'm out and will join with the revolt. The media 100% has done everything they can to make it seem like Trump is just aiming his rhetoric at white people when it's been obvious he's pointed his message at all America.

And knowing his utter lack of disregard for the AIDS epidemic in Southern Indiana, let's pray nothing happens to Trump while he's in office. Pence scares the shite out of me.

Which is odd, considering that it's whites that are the biggest victim of assaults from other races, vs whites assaulting others. But continue with that false narrative and scare yourself over nothing. Ignoring that blacks have more to fear from other blacks has worked out quite well, wouldn't you say?

Or they can continue to do what the Dem party has done. After all, they've set the precedent for targeting political opponents with unlawful programs, intimidation. Demonizing them, punishing anyone with opposing views.

I'm hopeful, but not too much. Mostly I hope the violence stops from the entitled folks who've run this country in the ground the last 8 yrs and hope that some of the media gets their asses handed to them by this President coming in. I'm certain he won't get the adulation and passes Obama got, nor the cheerleading.

I guess you're just going to ignore the other minority groups I listed, huh?

Ironically you might be right about blacks in the fact that we have the least to fear, but God help the hispanics and especially the Muslims.

Islamophobia has been softy accepted in the US looong before trump. We seem to believe the false narrative that ISIS=All of Islam. Because of this, you're going to see a lot of retaliation against Arab communities and even non Muslim communities like that Sikh temple shooting that happened a few years ago.. Hate crimes against Muslims are at an all time high; surpassing the months following the 9/11 attacks. Women are actually fearful to wear Hijabs in public because they don't want to be falsely labeled as a terrorist. So much for freedom of religion and from religious prosecution........

Hate crimes against Latinos are also increasing as well. While immigration reform is needed, the mass deportation of millions of people is just unconstitutional. Many Hispanic Americans are already being racially profiled in the Southwest. Who's to say that it isn't going to get worse? It's already going to tear families apart, and you can't tell me that there won't be several instances where Latino Americans will be "mistakenly" deported.

Tomorrow go out and ask really ANY minority the first feeling they felt when they woke up today. While some will say Anger and probably disbelief, most will probably say fear. The fear of Trump's rhetoric and possible future policies, and most importantly the fear of some (not all- but a lot) of his supporters. This isn't just SJWs overacting because their candidate lost or because the liberal media created some orange racist bogeyman. Like I posted earlier, these people are fearful for their families.

I hope he proves me wrong, because everyone should feel safe in the US. But there is just too much evidence that many minorities will have a hard time these next few years.

Well Trump has already come out and said that he has a "list" of all the republicans who didn't support him. Good help Paul Ryan and all the other "cucks"

ALL news media outlets are biased. ALL. Of.Them. Yes they can twist the facts around and leave out information. They have to entertain their base somehow. But they're protected under the constitution. He can whine and criticize how they're rigged against him all he wants (he better not spend too much time on them since he'll have bigger problems) but he better leave them alone. A state run media is a baaaaaaaaaaaad thing.

Also at the “adulation” and “cheerleading” that Obama received. Remember in 2008 when the media was up in arms over the fact that he wasn’t wearing a frickng american flag pin? Or the fact that people were worried that he would use a Qur’an on inauguration day. Obama was scrutinized since day one, as he should have been. Hopefully trump will get the same treatment.

Look at the media coverage today, he'll get worse treatment, believe me.

Can you imagine these kind of protests 8 years ago after Obama was elected?
