regardless of the circumstances, it's always shitty to lose a friend especially in a way that might have been avoidable.
I feel for ya man, try not to let it get to you too much, which is impossible, but all we can do is remember our lost ones and live in a way that honors them.

Sorry for your loss.
and I hate to be that guy, but only reason the driver in tractor trailer is alive is because he was in a big arse tractor trailer. if your friend hit any other car, there would have been dead innocent victims. never drink and drive, period.

That is comforting. UT will now hold a special place in my heart.

Jesus, cas4t, that's absolutely horrible. Praying for you and your friend's family.

Very sad news.
I'll most definitely pray for him, his family, and his friends.

It's the truth. I lost my 24 year old brother in 2009. You figure out how to move on without them, how to manage the void they leave because you have to, but it doesn't get any easier.

That is so sad. I am truly sorry for his loss.

I'm officially on the TSIO bandwagon!
Thanks everyone. He is going to be greatly missed. One of the best guys I've ever known.
Here's a funny picture of him and my other best friend. I look young as shite. He's in the middle.
He was always the shortest guy in the group. I would always mess with him and call him a midget and he'd get all pissy
One of our best memories is the first and only time I ever had mushrooms. He went full freak-out mode and we never let him live it down.
eta I'm hunched over. He was barely 5'8

Actually we all ended up freaking out, because of him freaking out. So maybe not the best time we've had. But it's good for a laugh now.
