Nice place. All the white people in Omaha must have crazy nice houses with zoos, carnivals, and the like if that's what the oppressed block people have to deal with.

no kidding,, but JUST BECAUSE RICH DON'T MEAN NOT OPPRESSED... (they keep saying)

so basically this super rich kid spent 7 years in COMO being "oppressed" when his family could have sent him to any school he could get in to,, and chose to stay at the one he was oppressed at, apparently so he could get the white guy who has been in charge FOR ONLY ONE YEAR, fired...

makes perfect sense right.

When I first heard he was a grad student in his 7th year, I figured the douche level would be through the roof. It amazes me how many career students there are. Most of those will find themselves in academia propagating these same ideas of the protestors to ensure future generations.

His father is a highly compensated executive, his grandfather was an attorney, his grandmother was a doctor. Oh, and his parents are founders and co-pastors of a church in Omaha. No telling what they siphon off of that to compensate for their missing privilege.

Jonathan Butler IS the definition of privilege.

If I had the money it took to build that oversized symbol of wealth I could do more good with it in 10 minutes than this fricktard idiot has done his whole life.

Makes the resignations of the President and Chancellor look really bad with all of this coming out. If only they had waited another day.

I just thought about how hilarious it would be if someone accused this dude's dad of racism because someone in a passing train yelled racial epithets at that person and it was somehow Mr. Butler's fault.

I know this can't happen because of how racism works, but would be funny nonetheless.

yep, when the HC backs a players strike on day one w/out finding out any real facts, it is a huge potential for disaster.. and that's exactly what it turns out to be, a gripe list of mostly non existing and hoax complaints and now the two top positions at the university have been vacated because of this hoax, and largely because the football program was involved.

All Pinkel had to do was say, "ok, we're having practice, if you don't show up, I can't guarantee what the outcome will be for you". "I don't have enough facts about this groups issue to understand it all but when more is discovered, we may amend the policy, but for now that's it".

I find it hilarious that he complained about the University being built on the backs of slaves and his dad's fortune is based on the railroad. Can't make that stuff up.

That's just the very definition of irony, isn't it? I'm just to the point that I have to laugh. Just laugh.
