Once. On highway 82 around Maplesville while I was going from Prattville to Tuscaloosa in 2006. Was the summer before I started college. Got a ticket for going 78 in a 55. Was able to take an online defensive driving class.

I've never been pulled over although I should have a few times.
Had cruise on 74 one time and a car was speeding up to pass me. The car suddenly slowed down and got behind me. I thought idiot just wanted to see what car I was driving so I kicked it up to about 100 real quick to get some separation. About 30 seconds later a Highway Patrolman speeds by me in a charger.
Another time I was going about 120 and I didn't see the sheriff on the other side of the road just sitting there. He must have been eating a donut or something since he didn't do anything

Five or six times.
Two speeding tickets, a couple of rolling stop signs, once running a yellow / red light in the rain.
Been ten years since the last one.

Actual tickets:
-16 years old for speeding
-17 years old for speeding
-17 years old, improper use of the turn lane (this one was bullshite)
^^^all of the above I had a pretty badass car and was a youngster so I likely wasn't given any lenience
-mid 20s, speeding
Those are my only citations.
I've probably been pulled over 8-10 more times aside from the above but was let off because I was polite and respectful.

The better question is...how many times have you gotten away?
2x. Never with their lights on and sirens going though (I'm not stupid)

A bunch. Probably 10. Enough to have my license suspended and all for speeding. In my defense, most were when driving a Z - whatareya gonna do? The last was over 20 years ago when my then young daughter laughed her butt off at me for the remainder of the trip. That was a turning point for me. Since then I'm a law-abiding citizen.

I'm sorry, Dave. Is this pic of my grandfather less creepy?

5 times. Twice in the last 6 months for no seat belt. After paying $200 for those two stops, and the chewing I took from the wife, Its the first thing I make sure I put on when I get in the car.

Speeding: 16 over - 138$ ticket
Tail light out: Warning
Head light out: Warning
Seat belt: 10$ ticket
Speeding: 12 over in Construction Zone on I75 - Was pulled over by a State Trooper and I was fully expecting a 500$ Ticket. Warning. Thank God.

I've been pulled over countless times, but a lot of them have been for a light out that I hadn't gotten around to replacing. Sometimes more than one cop would pull me over for the same light in a couple-day span. I've only been pulled over for speeding three times, two of which were on the Oklahoma turnpikes. I always think their speed limit laws are more lax than they really are on those things. I only got a ticket for one of the times, however.
The two times on the turnpike were also the only two times I've ever been pulled over during the day. The rest were all at night.
I've had three tickets in my life, and one parking ticket which doesn't really count.

Most police wont pull you over unless you're going at least 11 over. A deputy literally told SO that it was his agency's policy.
The "agency's policy" part of this is a pretty key detail. Otherwise, that's just dangerous advice. The size of the city has a lot to do with it. I've lived in a small town where doing one mile over the speed limit would get you both pulled over AND ticketed, no questions asked. In super small towns, it's a combination of not much real crime to fight and needing to make the city money somehow. Bigger towns/small cities seem to have a 5-7 sweet spot.

5 tickets in 28 years of driving and 2 of those were bull sheet
1 attempted ticket but he faded into the distance as I hit 145
Handful of warnings, funniest one being on the way back from taking my family skiing a couple years ago coming through Lubbock. The trooper pulled me over doing over 80 and said dang what's the rush, then he looked in the back of my wife's minivan and saw all the grumpy and tired kids in the back. He must have been a parent because when I told him I had over eight hours left to drive he just laughed and said slow it down a little

I'm white and white people never get pulled over unless the white cop needs a witness

Too many but all were a while back.
Speeding about 10 times. 7 or 8 tickets. One was 80 in a 55 in a construction zone. $500. Sucked.
Once for disturbing the peace. Radio too loud. In high school.
Running red light. Didn't actually do this one. Bastard.
Once for swerving. Took DUI test. 0.00. Had not drank a drop. Just tired.
It's been over 10 years though. Fingers crossed.

Once.
Running a stop sign hidden behind a bush.
Let's just say, that ticket got torn up fast.
