People are good at playing the victim. Not just Christians.

I don't even pretend to be a Christian and don't care if anyone says Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays. I always respond Happy Winter Solstice to you. After all the Druids were celebrating the holiday 5000 years before Christ

The Druids have no account that is 5000 years older than Christ.

Any Christian that whines about a "war on Christmas."

Whining doesn't necessarily mean they're playing the victim.

In response, I just declared war on Liberals and their Muslim co-conspirators.
Everyone who says "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings" gets in response, "Merry Christmas! Baby Jesus died for your sins!" When I get a Christmas card that does not invoke Christmas, I return it to the sender and write on it, "Are you a Liberal or a Muslim? Baby Jesus cries for you."
I declared war on Ramadan, too, and every other Muslim holiday. The problem is that they move them around every year so it's hard to keep up with them.
Jewish people get a pass with Hanukkah. I just wish they would tell me what the proper spelling is. When it is spelled "Chanukah" I think of a holiday for Chewbacca and the Wookie species. Is the C silent? A little help, please...

In this case they are.
This is another example of the mindset instilled in the Christian conservatives back in the late 1980s to early 1990s. The liberal elites are trying to change your way of life and secularism is here to destroy proper Christian values. This nonsense is a result.

Kind of like the greedy consumerism from corporate fatcats that's ruining Christmas. People on either side love to complain. I love to complain. It's fun to do.

That's what has "ruined" Christmas. I use quotes because I don't really think Christmas has been ruined, but definitely over commercialized. I still love the Christmas season, and I'm pretty agnostic on the whole religious aspect of it. I do love the religious Christmas music though.
At the end of the day, Christmas is what you make of it. I hate seeing Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving, but I only have control over not putting them up in my house.

Whining doesn't necessarily mean they're playing the victim.
If they sit there and nod their heads before every teaser segment on Fox News that says, "Coming up next, find out which major retailer is helping wage the 'War on Christmas'", then they are playing the victim.
But who effing cares? That's not a human characteristic specific to Christians. People play the victim in every walk of life.
