So... I wanted a computer in high school, and my dad, even though he had money, refused to buy me one. I had to do it all on my own with summer jobs and shite. So I looked up the costs and did all that, and I really wanted one because I had an iPod and Macbooks were trendy and shite. I ended up at Fry's, built a computer myself, for 25% of the cost of a macbook. I still have the same tower, and a few of the same computer components from... holy shite. 9 years ago. Just realized how old I am. Anyway, Yes I've upgraded the motherboard, RAM, CPU, and a few other things over the years... but you know how you upgrade an Apple product you bout in 2004? You would have thrown it, and it's ridiculously expensive incarnations 8 times by now.
