Exactly. I think it's just those liberal TV figs trying to tell me how to think and feel.

I have not once heard of a female proposal to a male in real life. "It's 2015 plenty of women propose"

What a crock of shite

If a woman proposes to a man, she is dating a two skinny jean legged pussy..

Women want to be lead. They won't admit it, but they get off on that shite.

I know it's incredibly sexist to think this way but I just can't imagine accepting a proposal from a woman even if I wanted to marry her. It's just been beat into me that it's something I'm supposed to do.

I would feel VERY uncomfortable if my SO didn't wear a ring

I thought this was pretty common knowledge nowadays. Most families split it now don't they?

No different than men not wearing them. Some people hate jewelry. Some people can't wear metals because of skin sensitivities.

Either that or the bride and groom, or groom and groom, or bride and bride pay for it themselves.

I agree. I have a family member that doesn't wear his because he has a skin sensitivity. But that kind of thing is pretty rare. I don't think not liking jewelry is a legit reason to not wear a wedding band.

I've been married 21 years and I don't wear a ring. I know quite a few married guys that don't. My wife doesn't mind that i don't wear one.

The owners of the business that I work for are gay and just got married. For them all it took was waiting and being committed to each other for 35 years until it was legal. Oh, and you're stupid.

None of these things are natural and they shouldn't happen.

We were in Riviera Maya a few weeks back and struck up a conversation with a lesbian couple that turned into 3 days of hanging out.

They were definitely lipstick, not flannel lesbians. We asked about a lot of those questions and they asked questions about our Christianity since the alcohol was pretty free flowing.

One definitely was the more manly, she proposed, she wore a "suit" at the wedding, but interestingly took her wife's last name. She said most couples they know have the one who is going to take more of a manly or womanly role regardless of the pairing.
