Who proposes to who? Who pays for the ring? Which family pays for the wedding? Who stays home to raise the adopted kids? Whose egg or semen is used for the baby if they decided to go that route?

You know that straight couples don't play by those rules either, right. Plenty of women propose. Plenty of women don't wear rings, or pay for their own. The brides family isn't obligated to pay for any wedding today. There are a shite ton of stay at home dads.

not to sound too un-PC but there is always a butch and a bitch in a relationship. One will almost always be more dominant.

First the top proposes then they have buttsex ontop of the American flag and use pages from the bible to clean up with.

Usually I just whip it out and he or heshe just goes to work. That's the kind of proposal you mean right?

Hasn't that almost always been commonplace?

Bugging the shite out of a man for years, wearing him down to a nub until he finally breaks down, loses all will and buys a ring =/= a female proposal

I've never heard of a woman formally proposing outside of television.

Now moreso, just like women asking to man for marriage....

Even though it has been going on 100 years with statements like, "I'm pregnant" or "That ring looks nice" or "I can't believe we've been dating longer and not married."

Or the old fashioned "you gave me my first miscarriage" after things don't work out in her favor..

You realize it's 2015 and not unheard of for women to propose to men right?

My wife's stepbrother married a dude.

They wore matching suits. I think the dominant partner proposed.

The wedding dance music included: Dancing Queen, I'm Coming Out, YMCA, It's Raining Men, Maneater, and some Bette Midler.

That is very stereotypical... I went to a gay wedding a few weeks ago and it was like every other wedding I've ever been to. well minus it being the bride and bride, music, cake, cheap alcohol, stupid games, felt like any other wedding.

What?? The amount of sin in that room didn't make you burst into flames?

Are you a wizard?
