The 2008 US Olympic team would have killed them. They would have no answer for LeBron.

I'm sorry you don't know basketball.

The 92 team would dominate with basketball knowledge and competitiveness alone.

Sorry but the Dream Team beats LeBron and Co by 20+ every time if you are talking all players in their prime.

MJ is the best basketball player of all time. Period. His athleticism and competitiveness were just unstoppable.

Magic in his prime was what LeBron aspires to be. Realize this is a guy that started at Center and played all 5 positions in the NBA Finals putting up ridiculous numbers while he led his team to victory. Not only was Magic incredible, he made everyone around him much better.

Larry Bird probably had the highest BBall IQ, competitiveness, and ability to shoot the lights out of any player in history in his prime. He was an absolute savant with the basketball in terms of court awareness and if you gave him any space, anywhere, he would drain the shot. He liked to go down on 3 on 1 breaks and pull up from 20 feet and turn without even waiting for the swish. Watch some highlights or a doc on Bird sometime and then come back andl about how any of the players you mentioned would contain him.

Those 3 guys had a level of competitiveness unlike any current NBA players. Just nasty.

Barkley in his prime was an absolute freakshow of atheticism as well and he also could shoot the lights out.

Robinson was actually stronger than Ewing at Center but both were absolutely elite players. Robinson could walk the length of the basketball court on his hands back then.

Malone and Stockton were the best P&R combo of all time but they were both a hell of a lot more than that. Stockton was a steals and assist machine. Malone could score anywhere, anytime, and he played great defense.

Pippen, Drexler, and Mullin were "just" Hall of Famers that were great players but not Top 20 All Time type players like the others. Pippen was as good of a perimeter defender as you will ever see. Drexler was a great scorer and a fantastic athlete. Mulliln could shoot the lights out from anywhere on the court and played with an elite level basketball IQ. Laetnner was the "weak link" but was one of the most decorated college players of all time.

The team you compare them to is filled with head cases and inconsistent players. Outside of LeBron, Kobe, and Kidd I don't know that any of them would have made the Dream Team if you are comparing players in their prime.

I think Kobe is as competitive as those guys, but everything else you said is spot on
