That's all top tier and my first choice in country music, but I'll listen to some George Jones, Conway Twitty, Glenn Campbell, Don Williams, Charlie Rich, Marty Robbins, Mel Street, Vern Gosdin, Mel McDaniel, Mel Tillis, Ronnie Milsap, Buck Owens, etc., too.

Our AM country music station in my home town was all we had growing up, and these guys got a lot of airplay in my formative years.

Funny story about George Jones-he once lived with Waylon in Houston... one night Waylon had to hog tie him with an extension cord and throw him in a closet because he wouldn't calm the frick down.

And yet, I'd put money on Don Williams to kick the shite out of anyone on that list.

Regardless, aside from Merle (and Buck Owens by extension), Coe and Cash -- most Outlaw Country was from my home state. It's what I grew up on. But I still like Honky Tonk here and there.

I still have all my original Waylon albums on vinyl. And some of the ones he did with Willie, Roger Miller and Jesse Colter. Colter was hot as balls back in the day. Sexy as hell.

Merle was a tiny 5' 5" at 14 and scrawny (he only grew to be about 5' 8"), which is why he needed a gun. Having a gun doesn't mean you can kick the shite out of someone, however.

And there are a lot of stupid bastards in the Q. Doesn't mean you're a badass.

5'9" and height doesn't mean as much as you think it does if somebody knows how to fight

Manny Pacquiao is 5'5" and would beat the shite out of a line of 6'5" dudes

Your basing your entire argument on the assumption that being in prison means you are tough or have the ability to fight

According to you anyone can go to prison and come out with the ability to fight no matter who they are

I think you should go back to your original premise and re think the logic behind that

Well, you were the one that injected who could beat up whom in a thread asking if anyone appreciated a particular facet of country music.

You have to admit, that's out of left field somewhat...
