Are you talking about the gun range or the broad?

Either way, IWHI. I love bacon.

I wish I could call BS, but being from Arkansas I have no doubt that this really happened.

Yeah, it happened, many months ago. This is an old story. ... No doubt the good folks in Port Arthur, TX share her same sentiments concerning the matter. She went to aTm, btw.

I'm torn between trying to explain to you why you should look at this incident and be proud of being an Arkansan ...

... and telling Arkansans that they should be happy as frick that you no longer live in their great state where business owners still reserve the right to refuse to do business with potential fricktards.

What makes them potential fricktards in your opinion?

If you're trying to offend me, this won't do . And yeah, let's celebrate everyone who leaves Arkansas that isn't threatened by every person who remotely resembles a Muslim.

Unless I missed something in the article that wasn't included in the cliffs OP provided, I'm going to say their skin tone and nationality is what makes them "potential fricktards." It's really not very hard to differentiate between Indians and Saudi Arabians though, and if you're not an idiot you would know that the vast majority (80%) of Indians are Hindu.

You can't see me, but I have a not surprised look on my face - and it has transitioned into a IGAF look.

IRL - I've seen a sign that said "TARS FIR SAIL". That's kind of more fricked up.

Think about it for a second - would any of you been surprised had it been your State? Before you say "not my State" - bullshite, I've been to your State

I must be an idiot, cause at one time this country didn't bow down to tree hugging, lizard lickin' fricktards. At one time there was a novel concept among Americans, something similar to: if I work for it, if I build it, it's mine, and I can do, feed, sell to, or let shoot, whomever I want.
There's a lot of poppas and grand poppas turning over in their grave right now.

Eta: to type "whomever",, I wanted to be politically correct and grammaticaly correct and all the other "correct" bullshite. If it ain't, kma.

What? How would that offend you? ... You missed the point entirely. I've been to Port Arthur, TX many times and am familiar with the predominant mentality of it; therefore, I find it quite amusing that anyone who calls it home has the balls to point fingers at anyone else's since there is such a vast wealth of enlightenment in PA, and east TX, in general.

And yeah, let's celebrate everyone who leaves Arkansas that isn't threatened by every person who remotely resembles a Muslim.

Again, that's rich coming from anyone in Port Arthur, TX, or hundreds of other Texas towns, or Louisiana towns or Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee & Missouri towns. I'll go ahead & add Idaho since I've lived there as well. As a matter of fact, I'll venture to add that most states in this country have citizens who share the same sentiment as the shooting range owner from Arkansas - the difference is that she isn't a hypocrite and states her policy as a private business owner up front & in the open.

As far as Arkansans being "threatened by every person who remotely resembles a Muslim," I don't think that's the case with most people who live in Arkansas, at least the many I know who live there; otherwise, they wouldn't frequent their businesses, live in the same neighborhoods, send their children to school with theirs, develop friendships with them, travel to the Middle East, and oh yeah, date them.

As a matter of fact, it seems that the people who are threatened are the ones bitching about this private business owner exercising her rights. Just as the Muslim owners of the gas station/convenience store and of the import interior design store that I patronize have the right to refuse service to whomever for whatever reason, so does the shooting range owner. People also have the right not to do business with them. Nothing new here.

And just a fwiw, since living away from Arkansas in several different states for the past many years, the most anti-Muslim sentiment that I have witnessed has been in southeast Louisiana. Not to "pick on" them, but there has been more of it vocalized, overall, in that region than anywhere else I've been. So, good for you for not being "threatened by every person who remotely resembles a Muslim," but your statement implying that anyone who hasn't left the state of Arkansas is, is a bit of an exaggeration.

Eta - and if this is your main point of contention with the shooting range owner ...

... that she wasn't able to distinguish between Saudi & Indian descent, visually, I would guess most westerners who are not in the presence of either on a consistent basis would have difficulty doing so just based on a cursory look. ... I suppose that makes her an idiot to people like you, but I'm just gonna take a guess & say, nah, she's probably not.

I used to go through all of those little towns - Orange, Winnie, Vidor - on the way to Houston for business & had some business in Port Art & Beaumont. I'm not hating on any towns at all (although I really don't like Houston for the most part ), but just pointing out that every town & state has its good & bad points.
