That makes sense.
Mexico is the country directly south of our southern border. If they're not part of the US they are part of Mexico. Hence they are Mexicans.

Actually that army was recruited by all of the jobs of the northern states. You dont want them to live here stop hiring them to cut your lawns, to clean your house, to work in your stores. Pass a law that anyone caught hiring an illegal gets a 10k fine per illegal. The GOP wants to hire illegals to work in all of their small businesses they set up but they want to complain about them being here at the same time. Have to love they hypocrisy that is politics.

That is a fun fact, but Mr. Austin was never President of Texas. He was Secretary of State and he is The Father of Texas. He might've been President of the Fredonia Republic or something along those lines. I don't remember everything I once knew.
