I've never seen anyone care about drinking on a condo beach. Haven't been to the public beach though. Just be reasonably discreet about it (beer in koozie, mixed drinks in glass/bottles, etc.)

I'm actually staying here now Reb, holler if you have any questions. It's not really aimed at colleged aged folk but I'm pretty young and I have a good time.

How is it down there right now? I imagine some crowds will come in next week since that's the spring break for a bunch of southeastern schools.

It's not too crowded yet but I'm told next week it should really pick up

I can handle a few pop up thunderstorms, but rain all day will really piss me off. Hope I get some good weather.

Flora-Bama is the best college bar on the entire gulf coast. AJ's in Destin is probably #2.

Gulf Shores issued a statement that they will ramp up with extra Police Officers as well as undercover officers during spring break and will make sure Gulf Shores remains a family oriented destination.
