The reservoir is named after notable racist governor of Mississippi, Ross Barnett, so the jokes kinda write themselves

quote:

notable racist governor of Mississippi,

That phrase is kind of redundant, no? I mean, aren't they all?

You're acting like George Wallace was never a thing. Abalamey and the 'Sip could have an hours-long shame fight over despicable executives

George Wallace repented and ended up becoming one of the biggest advocates for black rights in the south. By his last term as Governor of Alabama he won well over 90% of the black vote and put a record number of
black politicians in state offices.

You can do good things after being the poster child for terrible things. That's basically like half of American politics. Just saying that for Alabama to call out Mississippi over historical racism is pretty weak. I mean, I'm gonna be in the Gump this weekend for a wedding, and my free time is gonna be split between Civil Rights and Civil War plus booze

The bacteria is present everywhere in water. It's caused by the Aeromonas bacteria which is usually not harmful but at times it can mutate into flesh eating bacteria.

Odds are if you get in water with a cut you won't get it. But you risk the slight chance that you do contract a mutated strain of Aeromonas
