The majority of translations refer to it as a "circle". The Hebrew word used is "khoog" which literally translates to circle. Genesis says the Earth is covered by a firmament, aka a dome. Now if there are other places which imply it is spherical.
All of this to say it's what we would expect from an uninspired book written by different men in different areas over the span of a thousand years. Inconsistency.

That the author of Job would even have the insight to know the earth was round is amazing to me, considering the text was written thousands of years ago.
Interesting. How did you arrive at this opinion? I find the Book very inspiring.

Yep. I personally have seen the curve of the earth on the open ocean. You can also see it from the cockpit of a plane or, you know, from space.
All that aside, mathematics provides additional evidence of a spherical earth. The Greeks calculated the circumference based on observational data in the year 276 BC.
Flat earthers literally want to bring us back to the stone age. They are anti-knowledge.

Still stuck on that I see. The majority of Bibles say it is a circle, but I know that ruins the wonderment for you.

Is a sphere circular?
Is a sphere round?
My translation says sphere; others say circle. In either case, the Bible is correct. Hold up a ball to any child, and ask them about it's shape, they'll tell you it's round, a or a circle...that it's a sphere is implied.
Not sure why you can't see this, or why you're even objecting.
