I've seen this kind of rhetoric from both sides on neutral topics. Sometimes the truth is just hard to accept, and most people don't believe there are unbiased perspectives -- most of them are wrong.
I don't see Snopes as left leaning, just like I don't see Wikipedia as left leaning.

There are few true facts when dealing with policy. And I don't see myself as super paranoid. I'm sure someone somewhere might.
