What the aitch-ee-double hockey sticks is "astroturfing"?

ETA: Nevermind. Got off my arse (figuratively) and looked it up myself.

Nope.

This has nothing to do with Obama or democrats.

It has everything to do with the state entity.

You and every dumb arse like yourself who can't figure out the truth because you're so blinded by partisan politics is why this kind of stuff keeps moving forward.

You are divided, they have conquered.

This will likely be akin to SNOPES and other fact check type sites that have a distinct liberal progressive interpolation of the facts.

Is snopes considered a liberal website now? I don't use it much but I thought it was widely respected

I know my uber conservative grandad uses it

For some out there liberal/progressive means anything that doesn't 100% agree with their worldview.

I have no idea why conservatives think they're the party of liberty.

you know me and i'm pretty evenhanded on things of this nature.

snopes absolutely leans to the left side.

How could a web page that finds out of claims are correct or not lean a certain way politically?

Lower taxes = liberty

That's all you need to know or worry about.

I haven't been on there in years. It was pretty accurate for the non political stuff I've looked up.

I'll have to take your word on that. You're generally quite fair.

Ok then

Just seems tough to be slanted when dealing with truths and non-truths. Facts don't have political leanings.

ETA: Aren't you a super paranoid conservative though?

i wouldn't even say that it's inaccurate. and it's not raging left by any means. there are a few things that i've read over the years that have just left me to think that they do lean a bit that way.

a good example was candy crowley in the debates.

No, son.

A monetary system that creates currency as a means of trade, not as a means to control would be needed for liberty to exist. Creating debt by allowing a private entity to loan government currency is enslaving, not liberating.

That and the removal of the state entirely would be a good start.
