Trump is the only candidate who can beat Clinton. The rest should be vying to be his Vice President.

Wait, you're usually the sane one around here.

If the Republicans can't beat Hilldog with anyone besides Trump, we're completely fricked.

While this may be true, every republican candidate would beat Hillary in a debate.

just really curious, why do his supporters think he would be a great president?

It's the same reason Obama supporters voted for him in 2008: change. The hypocrisy behind the "Make America Great Again" campaign is astounding. Not from Trump's perspective, but from the people who are voting for him. They are simply going off of emotion and not reason. They gave the democrats such shite about Obama being solely off of emotions that they are blind to what has happened. Just ridiculous.

this makes 0 sense, just because you can run a company (which he can't even do) doesn't mean you can run a country.

Yeah he's certainly not as qualified as a community activist.

Nah just because Rubio would embarrass her. Statement of the night was by Huckabee saying he beat the Clinton s and lived to tell about it... Do some research on Clinton s in Arkansas when like 10 people that could've exposed them came up dead and missing years ago.

Agreed. Add fiorina or Rubio to that and it'd be no less true.

I think only Trump could steal away enough of the young to middle-age fence sitters from Clinton. Rubio is young, pretty and very intelligent but he's just not the bulldog that Trump is.

Carson is just too wacky. He's beginning to look like an anti-science kook. Clinton would stomp him and the rest of the field.

It is ironic, and just goes to show how ignorant the average American really is.

Yeah, for himself and his establishment crony friends that helped him become a billionaire.

Isn't this exactly why we can't stand career politicians?

I'm curious why you focused on one candidate after the debate?

Outside of Jeb, I thought all the candidates proved themselves to be quality and deeply informed on the serious issues facing the nation and unlike the democrats, they all had a plan for fixing the crisis.

1 - he's not an establishment guy
2 - he's not an establishment guy
3 - he's not an establishment guy
4 - because he knows how much of OUR money is being pissed away on ILLEGAL aliens
5 - every country or terrorist organization would be scared shitless of him
6 - he makes no bones about his motivations; his bank account whereas EVERY other candidates is only running because they want to save us....PLEASE!!!!
And last - the status quo ain't working
