One of my best friends in the world is an Army Ranger and a bad arse sniper, and he doesn't go out in Columbus when he's on leave, he pesters my arse with shite about the people he's killed. Soldiers aren't all mindless drones, they are actually concerned with things. I've had many a conversation about the people in the middle east, how maybe 97% of the Afghani insurgents have never heard of Osama Bin Laden, how all their tribes and local drug lords have compounds and villages and willing to use women and children as shields, how we've sent in aerial assaults and missed people, how we've effectively completed operations, frick I could go on and on and on.

No. Osama was a rich kid with grand ambitions. They aren't hyped up or have some comprehension of "American hate", and.
