I loathe Tennessee and all that goes along with being a white trash hillbilly.

I dislike Auburn.

LSU is not a rival, they are my and many Bama fans (I know anyway) second choice in the SEC.

Hillbillies are some of the best people, IMO. The holler folk around here might not be the brightest bunch, but they're awfully nice.

No. I have tons of UG and FSU friends and hate none of them. They can be obnoxious when they choose but that's to be expected and it's all in good fun.

Anyone that hates another fan base is retarded. I don't even hate the LSU fans.

Nope.. I hate how some of their fans are, but I go hang out on their campus/go to games quite often. I hate the mentality some have over football fandom.

I would not pay for my children to attend the University of Kansas. I would not visit them there. Fortunately, they are being raised right and this won't be a problem.

I just think I'd struggle to find a reason to justify my kids going to Bama. It'd be out of state, and depending on likely major, not a significant improvement (if any) over Auburn. But then, hopefully through a childhood of indoctrination and bribery it won't be an issue.

UGA, however, is the one that worries me. Considering I live in GA, got my law degree there and it's a good school, it might be tougher to avoid.

I graduated from Bama, and I'll be steering my kids away from Bama, especially my daughter since the wife was in a sorority. No way I want my daughter involved in the sorority scene at Bama, and don't really want my son involved in the frat scene there either.

Of course, if that's where they really want to go, I really have no say, as long as it's an informed decision. Will not pay for fraternity or sorority though. That's on them if they want to do that.

IMO Bama's greek system is getting a little out of control. I was in a fraternity and will likely support my kids doing the same, but Bama's greek system is becoming a weird blend of Ole Miss, SMU and Texas, with all of the narcissism but without the charm (Ole Miss) or the money (SMU/Texas) to truly justify that level of absurdity.
