More false assumptions on both fronts.. Let me try one:

"You're a short, belt buckle wearing tex-mex."

See how dumb name calling assumptions look? You don't know shite from apple butter about middle eastern relations. Just because you're in the middle of a flat place, drilling oil with pubic textured hair doesn't give you above par insight. You need to go live it. Muslims love blowing shite up. Period.

You don't have to be religious to acknowledge Islam as a problem. Whole countries use our tax dollars to push American hate through school systems governed under Sharia law. Are you fricking retarded?

I am acknowledging Islam as a huge problem. I just don't have the blanket ignorance behind that assertion as you seem to.

This is just beyond stupid. When we bust in to compounds in Afghanistan they think we are the Russians most of the time. I know. I have talked to a group of Army Rangers that have told me as much. None of them know who Osama Bin Laden is either.

They are poor, and uneducated, and have cheap access to arms, and an anti-Zionist culture. They don't hate America for any other reason than we support the Zionists. If we stopped funding Israel they wouldn't give two shits about us.

Do you have anything more than a high school education from the State of Mississippi?

Who Israel or the Afghanis?
If you're talking about the Afghanis, they'll always hate Israel because they're told to hate them.

So we're agreeing, but you're smarter than me? Do you have some sort of belittling syndrome we need to know about?

Cool story. I wasn't talking about Afghanistan, so this is awkward.

Congrats on knowing a Ranger I guess?

Awesome response. Give this Bammer a cigar.

I remember being a pacifist. Vice President of Social Dems. God was I ignorant! But I thought I knew everything. I thought I was sooooooo evolved.

Now I listen to bleeding heart hippies and want to sterilize them. Then I remember that had I not had 2 or 3 epiphanies I, too, might yet be so blind.

So I want to sterilize only those bleeding hearts who are male and over 30.

News flash for the philosophically lost:

When you are at war with another race then racism is good.

When you are at war then "morality" is bullshite.

We are not agreeing. You've said some incredibly stupid things.

There are terrorists in Afghanistan. Your idea that there schools are just Anti-USA 101 is beyond stupid.

Just finished watching a documentary on Hiroshima. I don't feel bad, in the slightest.

I had an Uncle, he just passed a few years ago well into his 90s, that fought in the Pacific.

He was not a fan of the Japanese, but he was a very philosophical and just man.

He was always very reflective of the decision to drop those bombs ... and he went in to Hiroshima afterwards. He served there until late '46 and he went back for two reunions - one in '85 and one in '05.

He was pretty-much like everyone else of the day ....

1 - The Japanese deserved it, they were the beheading savages if the day.

2 - Pearl Harbor was a dishonorable act so they cannot claim the bomb was dishonorable.

3 - The Bomb was going to be used some time, somewhere, by someone. It was Japan's karmic destiney that they made themselves the guinea pigs.

4 - When the second bomb had to be dropped it justified the first. Japan made horrible political decisions from day one of that war and until the second bomb was dropped.

Few people ever talk about target number three .... which city was next had Japan not surrendered after Nagasaki.

Which ones exactly? That the culture of Islam in these poor and uneducated regions promotes extreme violence and fanaticism much like African War Lords?

Is that I place some blame for their fanatical approach on being poor, uneducated, and easy access to arms the problem? I give Islam plenty of blame, but violence is a characteristic that has reared it's ugly head in all religions(well most) and it isn't unique to Islam. Violence is a weapon of the poor.

Not that it really matters, but Nagasaki wasn't even the original target. They were diverted by a storm and made a judgement call to drop on Nagasaki.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. In Japan's case, their stupid prizes were 15 and 21 KT nukes

The original target was Kokura but there was no storm. It was obscured by clouds and smoke from an overnight fire raid against a nearby city. They made three runs before diverting to the predetermined secondary target of Nagasaki.

They were going to make a radar drop against Nagasaki, which could be considered a judgement call, but they found enough clear skies to make a visual attack instead.

In reality, Kokura was saved and Nagasaki doomed because the strike package was late. One of the B-29s never made the rendezvous and Bockscar disobeyed orders and waited too long for it to show. Had they followed orders and left on time, they would have hit the original target (two B-29s had already flown ahead and checked the weather).
