Well obviously I know this, but the other poster compared them, so I commented on that comparison.

Drewdawg, Ive had Hopslam both ways. I've even cloned it. I even corresponded with Laura Bell about this.

You keep reading your blogs and studying for the BJCP, and I'll keep winning.

Wish we could get more of that, seems like all we get is your crappy Abita beer. Been trying to get my hands on some Ghost In The Machine. Found a place on Ambassador Caffrey that sells it (when its in and apparently it goes fast). Just have to beg my sis in Scott to go over and buy it and haul it back for me to Houston next time she comes.

I asked my cousins in Scott to grab me some, and they bought me a case. Picked it up from them at the beach over memorial day weekend. It was the first time I'd had it, and I am being honest when I say that it is the best beer I've ever had. Incredibly tasty and refreshing. Best cousins ever.

Transmigration of Souls from Orpheus is another dipa that I've had recently that is fantastic. I havent had Rites ipa from Orpheus but I've heard good things about it.

Some other favorites:

Dankosaurus IPA from Cedar Creek in Texas
Bengali IPA from Six Point in New York
Invasion Pale Ale from Cigar City in Tampa

Haha whatever you say, but you're the only person on here who thinks a DIPA like Hopslam should be aged.

Do you think a 9% beer (not a saison, wheat/hefe) should be consumed at 4 weeks?
