Coors Light beer mostly these days but I don't really drink much or often, woodford or JD during football season when our game is on or at the game

I drank more between the ages of 14 and 20 than most of y'all will in your lifetimes

Craft beer is the way to go IMO. So many great local options in a vast array of styles. Also, there's only so drunk you can get on good beer. For those of us with the propensity to overdo it, that's a pretty big positive.

I was too drunk to remember, but we were maybe there together?

Sober 17+ years. No AA, just quit. Don't miss it either...frickin' hangovers. I do miss a good single malt or a dirty martini.

I'll have one beer or one wine if out. No buzz allowed. What's the point of checking out of reality??? If you have to, you have some open issues that need serious help.

Wine is fine, but whiskey's quicker
Suicide is slow with liqueur
Take a bottle, drown your sorrows
Then it floods away tomorrows
Away tomorrows

I prefer beer for casual drinking, liquor for getting drunk. I have a weak bladder and if I'm drinking enough beer to get drunk I'm going to bathroom every 30 minutes. My worst hangovers are with beer too because I get so dehydrated.

I didn't really start drinking until I was 19 and didn't start going hard until about 21, but from 21-24 or so I drank a lot. In the 6 month period between graduating and starting med school I drank just about every day and at least 4-5 drinks a day, often more. I had a physical right before starting school and my BP had crept up and my liver enzymes were a little high, and that combined with school basically led me to stop entirely for several months and only go to weekends after that. Now I rarely drink outside of football season and special occasions/holidays.

A well aged bourbon or a quality beer. Never understood wasting money on cheap shite. If you're going to do something, do it right.
