Pretty widely rumored. My gay neighbor who used to work at a South Beach hotel swears that Clooney was a notorious guest, and that all the women are just box office beards.

Italians are fricked-up these days. They're part of the southern european looney fringe these days - but there was always a commie contengient among them, especially in Rome, Naples and Pisa ... they've just finally taken over all the way into Milano and over to Vicenza and Genoa.

She's not the hottest babe around, but she is apparently brilliant. Also has a major career thats not show business. I could see how thats attractive.

George Clooney gay? More like Warren-Beatty-type man-whore. Then he met Amal. I'm sure he's been in love with other women but this one pushed all of his buttons. I think they're well-suited.

Dude is 53. At some point you just aren't that horny anymore and it isn't about banging the hottest chic at the bar, in the room, etc. Priorities change.

Clooney is an actor. Which means, like most of them, he wants to make himself appear deeper and of more substance than his frivolous, make-believe industry would warrant. She is an ideal trophy wife for him in that regard. Her degrees and chosen vocation provides him a gravitas that some gorgeous arm-candy never would.
