re: Did any of your childhood/high school friends grow up to be criminals?

My friends became cops or corporate monkeys. The ones that got caught up in drugs have been caught in the cycle of bullshite that comes with getting pinched and being in the penal system.

An extremely large meth ring was based a few miles up the road from my family's farm. HVAC businesses are great covers for meth mfg. The family beat the first charges due to bungling Arkansas police and prosecutors. Then the Feds got involved and hammered their asses. They fled to C. America and were on the run for a few years. One of my real good buddies did his time in prison and beat it, moved away and now has a pretty successful car lot. A handful of them either were killed or shot themselves, a couple dudes that grew up in the area are doing time for murders, one should have gotten reduced time for being mentally retarded but he probably should be in prison because it's better for the community for those brothers to be in jail and not running free.
