it's just more of people from the coasts having contempt for the other 30 states. nothing to see here.

Obama and his agenda have been one giant wrecking ball to the Democratic Party.

I disagree that it was Obama who was responsible for this: it is without question Hillary Clinton. She sabotaged her own party to make sure that no one else can stand in her of becoming President of the United States. Her and Bill made sure that no one of youth and energy rose up in the party. Let's put it this way: Bernie, a 74 year old man, was youthful energy for the party. They're all just a bunch of old farts now who don't know what the frick just hit them.

There was only one person able to make it past Hillary's gauntlet, and it was Barrack Obama himself. Bill was notoriously bitter towards Obama over beating Hillary.

And what motive does Obama have not wanting a young idealist like himself to ride up to the top? Do you really think he wanted a corporate shill like Hillary to take his place? Sure she was better for him than Trump, but he had to know that Hillary would actively sell this country to the highest bidder.

She utterly neutered her party, so for all intents and purposes, Trump killed the two party system by destroying Hillary and putting a knife to the Republicans throats holding them hostage. Trump is a total game changer, and the parties are about to have to mostly start from scratch. In fact it's so bad for the Democrats that I think they're going to have to nominate a moderate Republican to even stand a chance.

Wouldn't it be great if the Republicans nominated Thiel in 2024? They'll have the first gay Nominee. The libs would lose their fricking minds

Not to this extent. I could give you a few answers who the Republicans may run to face Obama, with Mitt being a clear front runner. Now anyone who could possibly run against Donald is either ancient or in the current opposing party.

Democrats have lost around 1000 seats in Congress and governoships since Obama became president. he absolutely has damaged the party. if not for minorities voting monolothiicallly for Democrats, the party would go extinct.

I'm not saying he may not have had some part to play, but I don't think he intentionally sabotaged the party. I think Hillary and Bill very directly did in order to keep them in line and continue their power.
