congrats friendo.

i don't look back on my last class with much fondness.

22 hour final semester kinda made it hard to enjoy that much.

i did however just sit through a 12 hours training session to receive a Palo Alto Certification and absolved any desires of mine to go back and get a masters.

School sucks

My last week or so at A&M was sad as hell. I know most are ready to be done but Id trade wealth for the awesome, relatively leasurely life of an undergrad anyday. I miss it a lot.

I did that this morning but I don't think about it all like that. Just another day and a chance to make some money is coming up

Congrats. There's a lot of weird emotions in graduating. Mostly positive, but what I call my quarter-life crisis began the end of my Junior year when I realized I only had one semester left... that I was 20 years old and hadn't done anything with my life. But the bad, panicky part goes away in a few months and you really start to look forward to the future, at least in my case, that's true.

About midway through my freshman year I realized how much freedom I had and how much fun I could have while putting in pretty minimal effort in school, and it lasted until somewhere around my second semester finals of my junior year when reality hit me, as you explained. But that period in between is so fricking awesome.

I like my job and have zero complaints but you can't touch the amount of freedom and lack of fricks given of that period in college. Everyone has to grow up and contribute though

Hang around for 8 years like I did. Eventually they'll let you TA classes then you can really start banging freshmen.

Yeah, while I realized how old I was, I also realized I'm actually doing schoolwork for myself. My grades instantly got better from that point on (not that they were bad before). Freshman year... very relaxing. Junior year... not so much, but I would take Junior year over any of them because I'm the kind of person that's just happier actually doing something.

Yeah towards the end of my junior year I put myself on more of an organized schedule and tried to never miss class and I went from low 3 GPA to high 3 GPA. I still went out a lot but I wasn't just going out and fricking around for no good reason. I wouldn't change how I did things at all though

Inwas the opposite, I went to class less and less as the years went on. By my last semester (I took a victory lap, 4.5 years) I wasnt going to a single thing that wasnt required as part of the grade. I think I sat through two actual lectures all semester. Still pulled a 4.0 because I had exactly one class that I needed more than a functioning brainstem for. The history of rock was pretty interesting, though.

Yeah I think I had 10 hours my last semester , one of which was golf, and pulled a 4.0. One was a class I needed to graduate and the other two were pretty interesting and not that difficult so I just coasted

That sounds like my last semester. I had one class I had to have, and only took 3 others that I didn't need: one was called football history, principles of microecon (because I thought it's something I should know), and for the life of me I can't remember my other class and it was only 3 months ago.
