Apparently my kid's school has been hit pretty good, want to know what are some good precautions to make sure my kid doesn't get it.

We're all clean, but I want to make sure.

Powdered sugar. It's delicious.

I prefer my lice salted, same with my grasshoppers and crickets.

Which are actually pretty good with hot sauce.

I've heard using shampoo with tea tree oil helps prevent it, but can't verify.

We went ahead and purchased a few ''delousing'' products to be on the safe side. Let's hope it works.

Good luck. We had some friends that got a terrible infestation in their 3 kids and ended up having to rip up and replace all the carpet in their house, replace all their mattresses and linens, and fumigate the house. Weird thing though is their homeowner's policy covered all of it.

The lice hate the powdered sugar.

Well the good thing is that we don't have any carpet whatsoever except for one that is outside. The curtains are sheer and I really don't let my kid in the room for any reason whatsoever. Not a mean guy, but I know that kids just ain't clean.

You're asking for help for lice prevention on a sports forum but didn't take the time to google it? Hmmmm.

In the Off-topic board and amongst friends.

Jest aside, I trust people with real world experience who I can question immediately than the armchair bug experts on Google.

That's what we used. Hopefully it works. I can just shave my head but my girl has hair all the way to her butt.

Ain't gonna be easy for her.

If there's anyone who looks like that 'round here let me know. Means that I am the copy and they are the real one.

And yes I live in Mexico City. Tlalnepantla de Baz, right behind Mundo E.
