I have two buddies from Kansas City that are huge chiefs fans. In the spring of 2010 dex had just been drafted by KC so one of said buddies buys a McCluster chiefs jersey. The next day they were walking through their neighborhood in oxford and see a bunch of black folks having a BBQ block party, and they notice that dex is in the front yard. So they proceed to go up and talk to him and shoot the shite. After a while one of them asks dex if he wants to smoke with them, and he says "no man I can't be doing that", while making a telling gesture in reference to his baby momma who was standing near by. He then whispers for them to meet him out back.

So they proceed to smoke out dex and tell him that they're huge KC fans and mention the jersey he had just bought. So dex tells him to go get the jersey. They bring it back and he signs it for them, and then they hung around and ate BBQ for a while.

Mine was like yours only after Shaq shook my hand, an eagle picked me up. He let me go so I could dunk the basketball to beat the Russians.

After that Marshall Henderson and I drove our dune buggies across the country.

He tried to shake hands with me then I did the fake Ric Flair handshake move.

Shaq collapsed from frustration.

I once recorded Erin Andrews through the peep hole on a hotel door while she was getting ready one morning.

I was walking from Reese Phifer to Morgan Hall with a back up QB who went to my high school. We met Shaun Alexander in front of Bidgood Hall. He and my friend exchange some jokes about an offensive team meeting they'd been in the day before. He then introdued me to Shaun. He shakes my hand and we talk for a bit....just general chit-chat.

Two weeks later I'm walking the same path and pass him and he calls me by my name, asks how I'm doing and shakes my hand. I was blown away that he could recognize me, much less remember my name.

Met Jerry Glanville in high school. He was at our spring game recruiting a guy on our team back when he was at Hawaii. He came over and shot the shite with us for a good 30 minutes or so and said he'd keep his eye on us when we were upperclassmen. This guy on our team was fairly heavily recruited so there were scouts at just about all of our practices and we had no idea who we were talking to was. Didn't know until our coach told us the next day who we were talking to.

Played against Anthony Steen (Alabama right guard) and Cameron Lawrence (All-SEC linebacker at State) in high school. I remember Cameron being a mean mother fricker and he took out two of our best players on the same play. Steen was big and strong as hell but he was slow and stood up when he came off the ball. Obviously there was more to him. If he got his hands on you, you were done but he wasn't hard to get by. He did block down and ear hole me one time.

I was flying back to the states from Iraq on emergency leave October 2003. Once I landed in the US I had to grab my bag and head across the airport. Walking through the terminal I saw Paul Wight (The Big Show). He saw me carrying my duffel bag and asked me if I was in the service....so I explained I was currently in Iraq and was flying back for my mother-in-laws (at the time) funeral. He picked up my bag and asked me where my gate was and carried my bag to the gate, thanked me for my service, and walked away.
