Could you do it?

I've been trying these a lot the last month. I feel like a new person when I take them.

After the almost impossible first step in and the first 10 horrific seconds, it's not that bad.

When you're done and get dressed your body actually feels warm.

The entire body feels relaxed in a different kind of way, but also energized and sharp.

It apparently boosts testosterone. Anti-aging effects. Good thing to do right after workouts, aids in recovery. Good for skin. Increases circulation.

Helps me sleep better. Feels really good before going out.

No. I can afford to pay my gas / heat bill.

Surely you can find a woman that will touch your penis even if you have to pay for it.

I take cold showers on the reg. I swim in frigid creeks as well. I'm probably just crazy though.

I've heard that it gives your hair a nice luster. Seriously.

I haven't tried it, though.

Not crazy. Creek swimming. Badass.

I think I'm gonna keep doing the cold showers. Started off as a test, but don't see why I'd stop taking them.

If you can survive 15 seconds, it's remarkable for mental, energy, and other health benefits.

All you have to do is get past the initial shock. It sucks but, you can do it

If you're actually into this, you should investigate the Wim Hof method.

They built a brand new big high school for us when I was a sophomore. The gym showers did not have working hot water. They wasted all their money on the new awesome high school and didn't have money to fix the showers. Apparently they fricked something up so bad during construction, they'd have to take apart the entire building to get hot water. So, I took cold showers after football daily for three years. It was so miserable we started a student run fundraiser to raise money to fix it (we never got close). All it did was shrivel my nuts and make me fricking miserable. I vowed to never be poor so I'd never have to take another cold shower. Now I have heated marble floors, dual shower heads to hit every crevice, and an instant hot water heater that goes to every room in the house (like turn it on and two seconds later it's scalding).

Placebo is a hell of a drug.

I do it with some frequency. Mostly in the summer after a long day working on the house and the yard.

It is really refreshing, and is relaxing in its own way. I see the appeal.

I read something about the benefits of it. I usually start with it cold and then after about a minute ill turn it warmer.

I do it after working out/running or when I'm really hot all the time. Not sure I could do it after getting out of bed or something though, I don't doubt it's good for you
