Go to CentraCare, have them check it out. If you dig in there yourself, you'll only make it worse.

Go to CVS Rite Aid Walgreens

Buy Carbamide Peroxide ear drops

and

an Infant Bulb Syringe

and

A bottle of hydrogen peroxide

and

Some cotton balls

Lay on your side and boil out the ear with a capful of peroxide to remove any initial excess wax, roaches, lady bugs whatever. Dry with a batch cloth - DO NOT FORCE THE CLOTH INTO EAR CANAL - THIS WILL OVLY PACK THE WAX IN TIGHTER. Do this several times. What bubbles out will be grungy and look awful. Have a Kleenex handy to drain and don't drain until most of the bubbling stops. Boiling out a bug or old bug pieces that crawled into the ear canal happens more than you might think.

Next, use the ear drops as per labeling the first night to soften the remaining ear wax. The wax, if impacted will be dry and difficult to remove, but it must come out. The oil in the drops will soften the wax so you can rinse it out the next morning. You will need a piece of cotton that night to plug the ear canal.

The next morning, use warm water and the bulb syringe to flush out the remaining ear wax. Do it in the shower and repeat ten times to flush it out thoroughly.

Don't use a Q-tip, drill motor or explosives in your ear.

Good luck. Impacted dried old crappy ear wax is a real pain.
