In all seriousness, if a cop shot my yellow lab, I'd probably end up in jail or hatch some sort of Law Abiding Citizen scheme.

Then every redneck from Brandon would have declared open season

We damn sure would have lined the Pearl River bridges and shot the shite out of anything headed east with a Hinds county tag

If he did that to my dog I would put three in him and do the time.

all cops should have to pass a stringent entrance exam and a complete psych profile.

It would be nice, but I'm not sure you'd get enough applicants who could pass those to populate an entire police force unless you significantly raised the salaries paid to them. It's weird that, if level of pay is an indicator of how important people are to society, those entrusted with our personal safety (cops), our national security (soldiers) and our children's development (teachers) are among the lowest paid public servants we have.

There is no excuse for this kind of bullshite ..... the cop should be fired and then the owner of the dog should be allowed to .... well, I'd better stop there.

But lemme say this. Once the cops murder your dogs/pets ... that's fricking war. The murdering of pets has gotten totally outta hand and it is happening everywhere.

If you're dying on the sidewalk, the paramedic that's busting his arse to save your life makes on average nationally about what some groups are trying to get for fast food workers. If you're in a state where first response is BLS (basic life support), he's making a lot less.

fricking scumbag dickwads. Shoot that motherfricker and see how he feels. Personally, I and the cop should be glad it wasn't my lab bc the cop would be dead and I would either be going to prison or dead myself

I swear they get these cops all full of piss and vinegar during training for this job then they get out in the field and discover that 90% of the job is boring as frick. They look for any reason to use their weapon and you see what happens
