I did the same. I think it's done primarily because of tradition and religion. The responses of this thread are reflective of that.

I'm going C. It's not exactly abuse per se, but I do think its a bit over the top to snip your kids dick off, because you think it looks better or would be cleaner. I'm uncut, and have no problems whatsoever...and all my wives and girlfriends have always been fascinated with my foreskin. I've even had women beg me to show it to them because they were curious...

One of my HS girlfriends had a bit of experience with boys, and told me later that when she first saw it, she thought I was deformed! Which as far as I could tell, didn't interfere with her enjoyment in ant way...
