Here is the video analysis for game 2. You can go to his videos list for the first video analysis. In the OP I have all of the games from a chess board perspective where you can make the pieces move with each click. Both games so far a draw. That's the problem with computer chess theses days and everyone so booked up on the winning probabilities.

I have added Game 3 to the OP. It was another draw but we got to move 51 this time, so a much deeper game. We saw white (carlsen go down a pawn but ultimately get a draw to what eventually became a possibly better position for him.

I however, look forward to the analysis on move 22 where he moves the knight blocking the queens exit which eventually get his queen stuck behind his kings defense. At the time this seemed like a near helpless position. The move was especially questionable since he ends up moving the knight back to the same spot shortly after blowing yet another tempo.

Move 35 for black bringing the bishop back surprised the orator at the time but maybe there will be an explanation during analysis. They expected bishop to D4 where he could be attacking the kings defensive pawn at f2 while allowing the black pawn to come down to support it at e5. Blacks main worry through out the middle to end game was allowing a rook to get to the 7th rank.

Edit: Video analysis LINK.

Especially hate the drawn games that don't even go 20 moves. Game three was very interesting, though.

Anand actually has some advantageous positions in the end game that the computer analysis likes, but these positions would have required a more open end game. Anand instead chose to play super conservative an go for the draw instead. This seemed to annoy Carlsen and after the rooks came off the board and a certain draw was in favor Carlsen denied accepting an offered draw from Anand in favor of finishing out the last few moves of the game. In some circles this is frowned upon since the draw was imminent, but I think it was Carlsen's shot across the bow that he wants to play for wins. In a way its sort of calling him out in front of the public. We will see if Anand responds to this with the white pieces or if he will continue to play conservative.

If you are up, they have just entered the end game and it is likely that someone will pull off the win as the game is very open and dynamic.

GAME #4 loaded. To realize how dynamic some of the play was you are probably going to have to watch an analysis video because there were some tactical sacrifices avoided due to good defense on both sides, mostly against the black king.

If you love his analysis subscribe to his youtube page and watch one of his blitz tournaments. He is really funny to watch play blitz. He gets so animated. Plus he explains the tactics really well as he plays. Here is a sample. LINK

Yes he found a nice way of breaking a part blacks pawn structure while keeping two connected pawns of his own. A very nice advantage that led to two passed pawns in a rook and pawn end game.

It'll be hard for Anand to recover from a two game deficit.

Not that he ever had much of a chance IMO.

An and has to decisively win the opening and he hasn't really done that

Its like playing Sampras and he has broken your serve. The set is pretty much lost. Tough uphill battle ahead. Here is the game analysis.

In game 7 we see Anand with the white pieces for the second game in a row. After losing with the white pieces in game 6 he really needed a win but could only come up with a draw. Carlsen will resume with the white pieces tomorrow.
