Chacos are pretty much the official summer shoe of this town. Lots of them on campus. The hills make them practical, plus river canoeing/kayaking and hiking are pretty much past times for everybody around here, and they're great for the river and summertime hikes.

What feels do you have about Chacos?

I have two pair, I get a bunch of shite about them in BR because not a lot of people wear them here. I love mine, I just recently bought my second pair. If you go get a pair get the toe loop, they are so much better than the ones with out them. This is actually the exact one I just bought.

I also have a dog collar and leash from Chaco.

Get a pair I swear you won't regret it

Oh I do. I'm on Chaco's next level. I have a custom leather pair handmade in a shop in Fayetteville for about $300. I've had the leather pair for 7 years, but I'm about due for a resole.

They seem to be a very Arkansas thing. They're everywhere around here. I'll even wear my leather ones to the office on a casual summer Friday. They also work well in the river.

Well, its a store here in Nam called Flying Possum leather. They custom make them, starting by tracing the outline of your foot on a piece of leather. It's been here since the 70s.

Mine look exactly like these in the pic:

So, TEVA is back, with a different name.

Welcome to 1994.

We've done this before Millenials, think of something original for once you lazy fricks.

You've failed at passing ANY cultural idea off as your own, except for the lazy giant pussy narrative.

You got that shite on lock.

Just keep trying to dreg the bottoms to define your cultural existence.

It will always be defined as this...

Calm down, grandpa.

Not every "millennial" is panicking to get with the mountainwear obsessed greek college crowd. If I wanted Jerusalem cruisers i'd steal some from the creationist museum.

They look sloppy and tacky as hell IMO as a casual shoe worn around town.

However, I have no problem with them being worn as Water shoes...at the river, lake or beach.

Personally I don't like the aesthetic and wouldn't wear them period.

I dare anyone of you stupid fricks to roll up at any beach anywhere, wearing TEVA/Chacos sandals.

Get back to me after you do it.

I'm willing to bet this happened...

1) you didn't get laid.

2) you didn't stay on said beach for long, because you looked like a fricking dork.

eta: and what happened to the ankle bones of all those people in that photo? What kind of BMI do you have to have to not have visible ankle bones?

Also, I'd have gone with clams and pistons....

Top Gun was created to teach ACM, Air Combat Maneuvering...

Gentleman, you are the top one percent of posters, the best of the best.

You think Mullet Flap is gonna be on that plaque?

There are no points for second place.

Dismissed.
