Good. We only need to kill other animals for sustenance. I think we as a species should have evolved beyond killing something just to put it's decapitated head on our wall, especially something that's endangered. Kill all the deer, ducks, hogs and shite we can because they are everywhere and we aren't fricking shite up. As apex predators, our existence keeps others reasonably in check. Reintroducing wolves can actually alter the physical environment like it did in Yellowstone.
I'll never vote for a Democrat, and their motives are misguided, but I would probably agree with their stance on big game hunting than I would a trophy hunters.

But one fricking lion that wandered off the preserve being killed
If this was the case I wouldn't be pissed, but he didn't wander off, he was intentionally lured off by a pos who wanted a trophy any way he could get it, and yes that pisses me off. Does it make me not care about other atrocities in the world? Hell no there are many more people in the world that need killing other than this douchebag.

I think you're being a ridiculous idiot. Does that count as a dog in the fight?
Sorry for formulating thoughts quickly. I'll give you time to catch up.

I honestly will never understand the "sport" of hunting or what is so damn great about it, but I'm def not against all hunting.
But going out of your way to hunt one of the most beautiful and majestic animals out there, which is already an endangered species, is wrong. Unless it's for self-defense, it should be illegal in all cases to kill innocent, endangered species that are just minding their own business in their habitats. frick that prick.
Obviously, people's reactions of wanting to kill the guy are way over the top, but I wouldn't bat an eye if that POS did some jail time and dropped the soap in the shower several times. Justice

First off, Apples & Oranges with the abortion thing...
Secondly, the legal penalties for poaching are very clear, especially to an avid hunter such as him.
Thirdly, you would have to be brain damaged to not be aware that a significant portion of our population is outraged at actions like this.
Yet, he did it anyway. You want to throw him a parade?

I don't understand animal rights people.
I think trophy hunting is shitty, and I think endangered species should be protected, but I don't understand the crazy response to this lion's death.
Fry that sumbitch up and I'd eat him.

Superb logic. Do you have a blog to which I can subscribe? Perhaps a newsletter or a YouTube training series?

This is the piece of shite with his first lion kill. I think this is why so many people feel the urge to kill him.

No, but I don't think he should be crucified, either.
As far as the apples/oranges thing, yes and no.
No, as in there are much more horrible things going on in the world that it seems no one gives a shite about, but kill one lion...
I know this - I know which posters I would try to rescue, and which posters I would just go ahead and let the lion eat their arse if I stumbled across them being attacked.

Meh. You don't really need to eat endangered animals, IMO.

I'll quote Russvegas Dan here since he's spot on:

Because when you care about something its infuriating to see people disregard it so casually, and for what basically served no purpose. Its also the same reason people get all up in arms over any social topic these days. Not JUST because of that one specific instance, but because it serves as a focal point representative of a larger issue.

And more than a third of the population is deeply invested in the day to day happenings of people like Kim Kardashian.
Are we both arguing our society is mentally weak and easily lead? Probably not.

There are pretty much just a few basic concepts in order to hunt.
You can bring the animal to you
You can wait for the animal to walk by its natural path
You can track follow to its grounds
I havent seen all the exact details of this but was there a fence or something restricting the lion from going out of the park? probably not
Do you have a problem with fishermen? They lure fish to a nice shinny hook and many have them memorialized on their wall
