I can't agree with that assessment. There's just no evidence that the epidemic is anything more than a natural outbreak of a novel strain of Ebola.

There is surely interest on the parts of terrorist groups, but I don't think any of them have the capacity yet to design killer diseases.

ETA: Oh, you were being facetious. Excusez-moi.

Its how we intend to fight ISIS. Thats why Obama characterized it as a terrorist fight. CIA will weaponize it and we will use that to depopulate the middle east.

Africa is just an incubator.

(hows that for some made up shite? I should write the next Tom Clancy novel. seeing as Toms dead and all...he needs the help.)

Also, if Ebola starts spreading rapidly, I'm going to the family cabin in Appalachia and I'm killing anyone who gets close.

I could not be any less scared of hemorrhagic fever outbreaks.

Now Rabies outbreaks, those would freak me out. Rabies is almost a 100% kill rate by the time you show symptoms.

Rabies can be treated before symptoms begin. Also, there's a vaccine, though it's very expensive. It's kill rate is incredible and death is almost a guarantee after symptoms begin. Very few people have ever survived after displaying symptoms.

Ebola and its even deadlier cousin, Marburg, join Rabies as the scariest viruses we know of.

The biggest killer of humans is not a virus but a protozoan, malaria or P. falciparum. It's thought by many scientists that malaria is responsible for the death of half of all humans who have ever lived.

Estimates range up to 106 billion people have lived or are presently alive. In the 21st century malaria still kills half a million people every year.
