The house we just bought was built in 1904 - so yeah hardwoods errywhere. But I love it.

Luckily out old house had hardwoods too so I already had some antique rugs that look great but I had to get a few new ones for some rooms.

I did NOT get expensive ones for my kids' rooms. Even though they are teenagers, they are still clumsy, sloppy doofus slobs. The girl especially.

They got nice enough rugs from Overstock. They look nice but I won't kill them when they spill a freaking frappacino on it.

Yes, and probably some drapes to go with them and the throw pillows too match...

It never stops just take the card and go with friends because men that don't like penis in them can't match squat and this nesting thing makes us climb walls.

That's why if you have to have carpet, do berber. Because no matter how plush and amazing the most expensive shag feels.....it will show footpaths and look crappy too soon
