I don't believe anyone is better than anyone else. Superiority must be one of your Christian morals.

If it helps ease your insecurity in your flawed religion you don't really believe in, then I will happily do my best to not rock the boat.

its all good. Security in life is strengthened by questioning and overcoming doubts. anyone who hasn't had doubts is lying or never educated themselves. Aint gonna lie that I've had serious dips in faith at times. It's life and life goes on no matter what.

So you're literally just gonna pretend that doesn't exist.
Debating a christian is like playing chess against a pigeon. You can win all you want but the pigeon is still going to knock over all the pieces, shite on the board, and strut around triumphantly.

You need to read more. You're a bit stunted on some of these topics.

You linked a parable where Jesus puts those words in a ruler's mouth and pretend they're a New Testament teaching? You win Dumb Exegesis of the Day award.

No. Christians are not 'better' than anybody.
And yes, I am a Christian.
There are atheists who practice the principles that Jesus taught better than a lot of Christians. However, all Christians are called to grow toward that goal.
There seems to be a misconception that Christians are supposed to be 'perfect', when in fact we are far from it.
The only thing that separates us from atheists is that we believe in God, that we were separated from Him by sin, and that we can be reconciled to Him by accepting the forgiveness He offers us by accepting the sacrifice of His son on the cross as full payment for the sins that would otherwise keep us eternally separated from Him.
The acceptance of that forgiveness does NOT make us 'perfect' or 'better', in fact it calls us to humble ourselves in service to our fellow man, Christian or not.
We are not 'better', just 'forgiven'.
No one is ever going to be 'good enough' to get into heaven. Even the most devout Christian that does more good than anyone else on earth. Jesus made that clear.

Just a technicality, but the Old Testament is actually two-thirds of the Bible.
Things changed when Jesus died on the cross, as one symbol of that the curtain in the temple that separated man from God was torn in half Before then, only one priest was allowed one time a year to go behind the curtain to enter the 'holy of holies' into the presence of God.
The Old Testament is a collection of the story of the Hebrew people, their history, prophecies (which fortold the coming of Christ) and psalms.
