I'm still in public school, but in a really good one where the ECE population here is mostly highly functioning Autistic, wheelchair bound students, and deaf/hearing impaired. The rest are here in magnet programs. I absolutely love it. I can't even begin to tell you the difference in my stress level at the end of the day.
I think I'm going to end up taking a couple sign language classes.

I've got respect for you dude. I couldn't do your job w/o water boarding some little punk w/ the hot dog water from the kitchen.
I'd definitely punch a bratty kid when no-one was around to witness.
You just have to understand that these kids can't be saved. You've just got to get them to follow the rules long enough to not be a disruption to the decent kids, make sure they don't shoot other students, and pass them along until they are old enough to be properly imprisoned where they belong.
