The last 2 days have been hell.

Kid A gets suspended for possession. He tells SRO he's never seen that before, doesn't know what it is, and didn't know what the lighter was doing in his shoe. He has been suspected of selling as in his locker they've found baggies and he's been involved in town scandal that caused teacher get jailed.

Kid B refuses court ordered test and attacks JPO. He failed 5 of last 7 test and says he shouldn't be tested he's clean. He now has assault, interfering with government ops, paraphanelia charge due to finding a pipe in his back pack.

Kid C got taken out of home parent calls me cussing me blaming me for not having power water and clean clothes.

Kid D threw a chair at substitute because she made too much noise, which is possible due to his high sensitivity. But the kicker on this one was he was asked if he wanted to go to the library because they were going to watch a movie about jungle.

Yeah I'm thinking I need to get gig or something.

Ok I've vented tia tl/dr and I'm sending my kid to private school for certain now.

What grades? Since it's public school, I'm guessing Elementary.

I got out of the bad kids school (day treatment/all self contained) and the alternative school. This was at the regular public school!

Sounds like some of the delinquents that my SO has to deal with in court.

Understand the desire to get out of that environment and don't fault you for it. In the meanwhile, remember that these kids aren't raised right in a lot of situations and at school they are introduced to order and respect the only time in their lives.

Love on them as much as you can, man. They may not have a better picture of love than what you guys give them.

On the other hand, thug life gonna thug life and eff tha police.

They need their asses whipped, alas I know you can't do that, all I can tell you is to pray about it and do what's in your heart.

Kid C is the one that makes me the maddest because we had him almost there and the juvy court (replacement judge) screwed us by sending back them home to that. We got in trouble for hiding him in a hotel over the summer for a night when the mom got out of county for delivery of schedule 2.

DHS didn't believe our calls but it took a call from a bus driver to get action.

This case actually keeps me up at night.

My wife is in the process of getting the frick out of that mess.

With a non-profit no less, and I'm completely fine with it.

She's SPED and gets crapped on, on the reg. Not only by students, but faculty as well.

Not sure why anyone would want to teach in today's entitled world.

She's started working part time one-on-one with autistic kids, and is hoping to dump teaching all together by Xmas break.

shite like you speak of has become a joke in our household.
