re: calf tats vs half/full sleeve tats

You're an Arkansas fan. A tatoo isn't going to make a dent either way in your trashiness level.

I have two shoulder tats and a calf tat, and had a woman throw a curling iron at me once. I'm trashier than you.

I'll say calf tat with a caveat of the sometimes awesome leg sleeve.

I am a big advocate of half sleeves/sleeves as long as they're well done. I love seeing awesome and creative tattoos. The only ones I don't like are hand tattoos, they never look good to me.

My rule of thumb for tats, if you can cover them up with regular clothes (pants, long sleeves, shoes), they aren't trashy. I don't get the tattoo hate in the south.

I have no tats but several of my employees do... I don't care for them but if someone wants one that's fine... Just don't go overboard.

I gotta calf tat of Hugh freeze with a full sleeve tat.

Seein as I am roughly 45% covered in tattoos I will say the neck and face tats are to much and that's why I don't have them.

Some chicks can make sleeve tats look sexy.

Nobody can make a calf tat look good.

The only trashy tats are the ones that are overboard in terms of real estate taken up, or ones gotten for dumb reasons (i.e. Kentucky 2014 National Champs tat guy).

A guy I worked with in college randomly became an OU fan -- the epitome of a bandwagon fan -- and got OU inked on his calf. He also got a Cubs tat on his bicep because he went to a Cubs game while in college and decided afterward he'd be a Cubs fan. Let's just say he wasn't the coolest guy in the world.
