frick no, no one with half a brain think OJ didn't do it.

This will come across as racist, but I don't care.

My lasting impression of the OJ saga was the stupidity of the majority of black people actually believing OJ was innocent.

He did it, of course he did. The police botched the investigation and the prosecution was outclassed by the defense. Was it premeditated? Don't know, probably. But even though he was found not gulity, he has still lost everything - money, popularity, influence, respect. He's a pariah, and that's as it should be.

Pretty sure he still has his mansion in Florida. THat going to jail for beating the shite out of that guy for stealing memorabilia is probably his biggest regret.

I don't care.

I was always an OJ fan and didn't want to believe he was guilty but his behavior during the Bronco chase and the mountain of circumstancial and DNA evidence that came up during the trial is what made it painfully obvious he was guilty. I didn't want him to be but it was obvious he was.

I'll never forget where I was when the verdict was read. I was getting something to eat at the Ferguson Center on campus. I'll never forget the eruption of cheers when it was announced. I felt disgusted at the seeming lack of respect for two people that nearly had their heads cut off. I wasn't that invested in the verdict but it almost felt like those cheering the verdict were rubbing everyone's nose in it. It was disturbing to see people THAT jubilant over a verdict not involving a friend or family member.

I loved the trial. Our history teacher made us watch both the chase and the proceedings during class. He said it was historical.

Nope. He thought there was no way he had a chance after all the evidence he left. Bloody socks in his bedroom, dripped his blood and their blood inside his bronco, outside his bronco, on the driveway at his house. The bloody glove with his blood in it. The incredibly rare and expensive shoes that only 400 pairs were evermade and they matched the size 12 bloody shoe print to one of those pairs which he owned one of. The cut on his finger he told the police he couldn't remember how he got. The eyewitness that saw a white bronco speeding away from the murder scene at the time the murders occured. The limo driver saying there was no white bronco parked in the driveway when he arrived, but there was 20 minutes later and oj claiming he was asleep and the bronco was there all along. The massive motive.

I mean hell, about the only evidence that wasn't there was a tv crew to film the murder.

And given the jury I think they still would have found him not guilty. That jury, verdict, and especially reaction should be a total embarrassment to every black american who supported it, then and now.

Should be an embarrassment to anyone who supported it really, but I say black in this case because polling showed a massive race divide.
