Independence High School out of Charlotte. They were an offensive machine! Have the second longest winning streak in the country.

Fort Walton Beach HS 1991-1992. Danny Wuerfell's state championship team...E.G. Green was his main target...played at FSU then the Indianapolis Colts. Beat the tar out of everyone. I'm not sure that anyone scored a point against us all season...combined scores of something like 500-10 during the regular season. We were all shocked when St Thomas Aquanis went up 2 quick scores in the state championship game....then they got their asses kicked too. Didn't score again. It was awesome.

The 2008 Prattville team was pretty damn good. 7 shutouts that year.

2013 Allen eagles were loaded

They played desoto last year in an epic game and they had like 16 players in that game go D1

I wonder how a matchup between 2013 Allen and 2013 Aledo (first team to score 1,000 points in a single season) would turn out.

I know Allen is 5A Division 1, and Aledo is 4A Division 2, but Aledo doesn't lack depth.

Allen would have played Aledo close in the first half. Allen would pull away and win by 4-5 scores.

Aledo isn't even the best 4A team ever

1976 Warner Robins Demons. They were were Georgia state champions and named "mythical" co-national champions with Moeller High School of Ohio...

They had the best HS RB I ever saw in person (James Brooks). Brooks went and starred at Auburn; he had a good NFL career for both the Bengals and Chargers. Their other RB, Jimmy Womack, was the starting FB on UGA's 1980 championship team, used more as a blocker for Herschel...

The starting TE/DL was Ron Simmons, who went to FSU where he was an All-American noseguard; he also had his number retired there and was inducted into the Orange Bowl Hall of Fame. While he spent 4 years playing pro football (NFL, USFL, and CFL), he was more renowned as a professional wrestler, where he was a WCW World Champion...

But the best high school game I ever saw in person was one I watched from the sidelines. Semi-finals in the Ga. Dome, 95-96season. SW Dekalb vs, Warner Robins, SW had the no.1 offense and no.2 defense, WR had no.2 offense and no.1 Defense. The entire WR team had the flu, except me and a few other freshman. We held them to 7 with Quincy carter running their O and our starting TE caught a pass across the middle and almost went the distance but ran out of steam and got caught from the back. It was an awesome game to watch.

Best one i ever saw in person was Midland Lee 98-200 when Cedric Benson was playing. He went on to have a pretty good college career with the longhorns, but that team was stacked top to bottom.

Warner Robins vs. north-side 92-93 season. WR won 14-10, but northside had the ball on the 9 yard line 1st and goal with 1 minute left in the game and 3 timeouts. WR held them on 4 straight plays that ended on the 1 yard line. Best end to a game I've ever seen, God I love defense!

2011 Trinity (Louisville) Shamrocks. Went 14-0, won state, finished #2 in the country in some polls/#1 in others, and beat teams by an average margin of 49.4 points.

Probably the Sidney Lanier Poets when they had Tarvaris Jackson and Chris Chakuma(sp?) in the early 2000s. Pretty much unstoppable.

Me and my brother were at that game...and you're right, it was awesome...that was the last WR-NS game I've been to...

I'm probably showing my age but, if you liked that one, you would've loved a couple of games back in the early 70's. The Demons won a couple of very close and intense games against Northside in '72 and '73. In both games they fell behind by 2 TDs and came back late in both of 'em. In '72 they scored 2 TDs in the last 5 minutes and won 14-13. In '73, they kicked a 32-yard FG with just seconds remaining in the game to win 17-14...

Trinity 2002 team was sick. I believe they finished in the top 5 after beating Male (Michael Bush) in the championship game. I played some good teams in north Houston from 99-01 as well. Katy, Woodlands and Klein were damn strong.
