2006, John Curtis. Those dudes tore me up.

Yep. They demolished the then #1 team in the nation Hoover High in Hoover, Alabama 35-14. Joe McKnight killed them.

The best team I've ever saw was the 95 Catholic Bears with Major Applewhite and Travis Minor.

Vigor was bad news. Lectron Williams was the RB,as good as he was at Auburn he never totally got over his knee injury. Kevin Lee and Roosevelt Patterson went on to Bama,Lee to the NFL. Mitch Davis was an all SEC LB at Georgia, the QB started at Troy and most of the rest played college ball somewhere.

Voted the best Alabama team ever by Al.Com.

Want to talk defense? EIGHT shutouts, 44 points allowed all year on a 13-0 team, 30 ypg rushing and 84 a game total avg. Five playoff games and four shutouts, only giving up 7 to Stan White and Berry in a 41-7 mauling.

Yep, saw them in the championship game when I was a little boy

That team didn't make it past the quarter finals in the playoffs. I know this, because I played on the team that beat them out.

In Mississsippi, '87 Pascagoula vs. '03 South Panola would be epic.

The SPU teams at the beginning of their 89 game win streak were unbelievable. Kids were dumb as bricks or they would have had 15+ DI prospects every year.

The Pascagoula team gave up 46 points all season, 33 of which came in three blowouts where garbage scores came.

That '03 South Panola team scored 674 points on the season. The next highest in 5A was Picayune's 404. They beat Madison Central 47-3 in the playoffs.

I think I'm confusing them with the 92-93 championship team Warrick Dunn was on . My brother's team played against them every year of his high school career and Dunn's Catholic High team beat them 77-6.

2013 Plantation American Heritage

5 star RB Sony Michel (UGA)
5 Star QB Torrance Gibson (best HS QB I've ever seen) Think Cam Newton but faster.
4 star WR Isaiah McKenzie (UGA)

Won the 5A State Championship game 66-8

2007 and 2008 Prattville Lions. Remember their '08 team playing Auburn High who was undefeated and ranked number 1 in the state. 3rd round of the playoffs, they played each other, pville won 42-0. They were up 35-0 at halftime and played their 2nd string the rest of the game.

Hoover has had a lot of great teams.

No one has mentioned the De LaSalle teams that dominated in California. Didn't they win over 120 games in a row?

Probably 95 Bolles... had a rb who was gonna go to Nebraska but fricked up before he had his chance to be Lawrence Phillips. 3 guys signed at bama, 1 of them got a 7 year old Honda... we got probation. Another guy signed at fsu and I feel there were 2 Louisville kids on that squad too.
