I stopped biking on public roads because of the increase in bullying from drivers. Those fat frickers don't like seeing someone getting exercise and helping the environment at the same time, I suppose.

I would carefully survey the route, view alternate routes with less traffic, etc... before I would consider putting my life in the hands of a careless driver, this is not Europe.
I have driven motorcycles, SAFELY, for over 25 yrs, I would never REGULARLY commute in town, any town, on a motorcycle.
