I've lucked up, I've never had any problems out of any vehicle I've owned, but I do meticulously maintain them myself and have always used full synthetic oil.

Had a 1995 Honda Civic that looked similar to this one. Was a 2 door model. I drove it for 8 or 9 years and got 2 grand out of it when I sold it. Never once broke down or left me stranded and the transmission had a slight slip in it for years but never went out.

07 Grand Cherokee Limited, 5.7L hemi with custom cat-back

Drinks gas like a motherfricker, but it's such a beast tgat i dont even care. Still sends shivers down my spine starting it up cold or laying on the gas.

No major problems so far, knock on wood

Favorite car:
2008 Hyundai Elantra

Most reliable:
1988 Chevrolet Celebrity

I swear, that Celebrity could have survived a nuclear apocalypse. The roaches would be driving it.

Tie between an 04 Nissan Titan and an 08 4Runner. Despite all kinds of complaints on the early Titans, I've never done anything more than replacing a starter and routine maintenance and it's approaching 200K miles. The wife has the 4Runner approaching 200K and nothing but routine maintenance. We had several domestic (GM) vehicles before these that we were constantly sinking money into.

1991 Nissan Maxima 5-speed. Car drove great. Never a problem til it was rear-ended and totaled by a 1972 Cadillac in 1999.

'92 Isuzu Rodeo. Basic model, V6, manual transmission. It's still running around town, someone else owns it.

I think my current one might be my favorite. First one I was able to actually pick exactly what I wanted. 2016 Tacoma TRD Sport.

We had a 2004 Acura TSX that we got a steal on a few years ago that was a really nice car that was really fun to drive. Only problem was it ate brakes and rotors like nobody's business and the A/C clutch crapped out all before 110K miles.
