So you just aren't very knowledgeable about their music. That's fine, but don't say all their stuff sounds the same, because its about the opposite from the truth

Then don't tell me what I'm not hearing. They sound the same to me... maybe its because I stopped all the bong hits and narcotics intake maybe not. But they sound the same to me hence the reason I don't like them.

Every fricking bands music sounds the same, unless you actually like them and take time to listen to their entire collection. And I mean actually sit and listen not just play. The you will probably hear distinction. I'm talking about most bands not all.

No need to get upset bud. Just dont make baseless claims about music that you dont know anything about.

If we're going with this era of music, Queen has a pretty distinct sound also. Whether you like them or not, you can recognize their songs pretty quickly.

You could name nearly very popular band from different styles and eras,

Bill Withers, Hendrix, Beatles, doors, Floyd, zeppelin, sublime the list goes on and on

Nowhere near upset, just arguing my point.

I have heard them... I don't like them... they sound the same to me.

No matter how many ways you tell me that I just don't get them, understand them, or know anything about them will change that fact.

You on the other jumped to their defense like you were their damned road groupie or something.

I agree with you on this. While they do have variety in their catalog, they still have a sound to them and it's easy to pick their music out.

Guys I have loved phish since I was in 7th grade with rarely any friends who felt the same as I did. You just have to let it go. Some people just don't get it. You have to take a lot of time to llisten to and it really depends on what you hear a lot of first. Everybody I know who listened to them for a while and went to a concert ended up loving them.

Think of it this way, tickets are already hard enough to get we don't need any more competition.

First time I've listened to them. They do have a distinct sound that makes their sound similar in all the songs. Maybe he meant the same, as in bad music.

Don't hate. I'm sure I listen to folks most would hate on.

Ya but if you don't like it then you don't get what is good about it. Just like I dont get what is good about country music but I
know that some people do.

Also I like classical music, but most people don't get it and please tell me it isnt good music.

I can actually not like something and understand why other people would, though.

I highly doubt you can listen to something that you don't like long enough to really understand it.

But what do I know maybe you enjoy listening to music you think is shitty.

I liked some of Journey but they are the one band that some tunes really did sound alike, just different lyrics.
